During my time on Teamfight Tactics I was given the wonderful opportunity to lead a few major mechanics/sets for the Visual Design team! I typically would lead the set mechanic work for in game and I officially lead Cyber City. I’ve included snippets of my process above which isn’t fully exhaustive but include:

Created a new process which included a 1 pager of all the different art disciplines work to better showcase the work to ensure the art style stayed consistent

this new process is still used by the team to this day!

AD checkins with updates from VisD/Mograph teammates

set expectations & goals with the team

updated the art deck with directional references

During my time as a Senior Visual Designer on Teamfight Tactics, I expertly took wireframes created by UX Designers and craft visually compelling mockups through iterative design processes. Ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder approval. I demonstrated a thorough understanding of the visual design across various states, as well as the nuances of design for both PC and mobile platforms. I owned most if not all major features that I worked on. Both in and in the around game spaces. Including shipping new features such as Item bench improvements during set 13 and the initial launch of Treasure Realms. Along with completing feature work for in game as the primary visual designer until set 15.

Working on a game with established UI, I understand the importance of reusing existing assets and only introducing new elements when necessary, resulting in a cohesive experience. I also collaborate with outsourcing teams, effectively setting up templates, providing clear and directional feedback, and ensuring that the final product meets our quality standards.
